Technology and social media continue to grow at an exponential rate. societies' relationship with technology is increasingly causing greater preoccupation with the number of connections, followers, or friends, rather than the quality or tangibility of these relationships. our inherent notion of relationships is a intuitive interaction which includes a mutli-sensory experience and a physical presence. However this ideal, is widely being replaced by virtual interactions and a ‘cyber’ existence via texts, tweets, and status updates.
